Craig & Nicole Flood, coming soon to a city near you!!

We are getting ready to embark on the longest trip either of us have taken in the U.S. at the beginning of August. Our last day at the hospital will be July 28, and then we are packing up the Stanza and heading out on the road for a seven week tour of the United States! We'll end in Portland about a week before the fall school quarter begins. Adventure, here we come...

Craig has been working hard to make our '86 Nissan Stanza the most roadworthy adventure-mobile possible.

First addition was a custom fold out bed in the back of the car...as comfy as our bed at home!

Next came the Yakima box and bike racks for the top...

Ultimately we hope to have a converter in the car and a generator mounted on top to let us be as self-sufficient on the road as possible. Nicole is working on collecting the four essential items for cooking on the road...a Rice Cooker, mini George Foreman, an Electric Kettle, and an Electric Wok.

We will be covering 30 states, at least 6 national parks, and roughly 9,000 miles in these seven weeks. Follow along as we chronicle our journey...it should be an adventure of a lifetime!

A New Beggining

This is our first post as a married couple, starting out our blog to keep our friends and family up to speed on our life adventures. We just got married in April...definitely the best day of our lives so far...and now we are getting ready for our next big adventure. We are Portland-bound, leaving Seattle and everything we know here and moving on for Craig to start school. We're excited for everything to come!

We converted Nicole's old blog into our current site, so her old posts are still archived below. She stopped blogging about four months before we met and hasn't touched it until now, but the old posts are still fun to read. From here on out, we will be updating much more regularly...
